Self-Employed Person/ Sole Trader/ Partnership
Effective February 1st 2020, the Inland Revenue Division (IRD), will be introducing a new service that allows VAT and PAYE taxpayers to file their tax returns, on its e-Tax platform, without having to register with ttconnect.
This new feature, termed the ‘Non-logged in service’ targets taxpayers who have not yet registered with ttconnect for e-Tax and offers them a second option to meet the requirement of filing their returns online. From February 1st 2020, VAT and PAYE taxpayers, the first group to be allowed access to the ‘Non-logged in service’, would be able to file their returns for the years 2019 and onwards. However, where there is a need to file returns for the years 2018 and prior, these taxpayers may visit any of the IRD’s regional offices to obtain printed copies of those returns.
